We are seeking a licensed Principal Architect to join a woman-owned architecture firm in Seattle and take on a key leadership role with a direct path to ownership. The position involves leading projects from schematic design to construction documents, overseeing quality, and mentoring staff. The role is client-facing, with some exposure to business development. The firm is known for its mission-driven project work focusing on housing, senior living, and community-focused projects.
The firm is a 6-person team renowned for its collaborative and creative atmosphere, with a strong track record of quality design execution. The office is located a short walk from public transportation. Staff are expected to work 40 hours per week, with the work schedule typically running from 9 AM to 5:30 or 6 PM. Staff are required to be in the office three times a week. As a partner, working at least 45 hours per week is expected. The firm has achieved the highest levels of sustainability certification in Washington State and is a leader in senior living and special needs housing design.
This is a Permanent position based out of Seattle, WA.
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
This is a hybrid position in Seattle, WA.
This position is anticipated to close on Aug 3, 2026.
