We are hiring a Principal Architect to lead the product and systems architecture of Ingersoll Rand's Digital Solutions portfolio. Our products combine industrial compressors and blowers with embedded controls, edge connectivity, and cloud services – used by customers in demanding environments around the world. This is a senior individual‑contributor role. You will set the technical direction that subsystem teams across the company build against, and you will be a recognized technical voice within Ingersoll Rand. You'll spend most of your time on deep architectural work and on the high‑leverage artifacts that direct the portfolio, working closely with Product Management, Engineering Leadership, and architects across our digital subsystems.
The pay range for this role is $150,000‑$160,000, excluding incentive opportunities. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
