Job summary

Sureify is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own our high-impact API expansion for life and annuity carriers. This “Super IC” role focuses on strategic leadership without people management, serving as the functional architect for CoreCONNECT APIs and driving a scalable API suite.

You will collaborate with marketing, sales, and customers to shape a market-leading API layer and represent Sureify in industry standards groups. Base salary shown below reflects US market norms.

Qualifications

• Product Architect with strong customer insight and strategy.
• Experience owning an enterprise software product with high-touch direct sales.
• Experience in a highly configurable enterprise market (Insurance/Fintech/Healthtech).
• API-first mindset; define developer-facing requirements for APIs and SI partners.
• Track record turning vague market opportunities into concrete products.
• Based in the US/Americas; able to work with US carriers/time zones.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term roadmap for external-facing APIs that provide a competitive edge to carriers.
• Define how external APIs evolve alongside the CoreCONNECT platform for carriers and partners.
• Seed the market for the new API area by collaborating with marketing, sales, and customers.
• Represent Sureify in industry groups shaping IRI DFA standards and related industry initiatives.
• Engage with carriers to understand friction points and how APIs solve them.
• Author clear specifications for complex API workflows with high configurability.
• Collaborate with engineering to build a scalable, developer-friendly API layer.
• Align stakeholders across product, engineering, professional services, and sales.
