Performance Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and community stakeholders.
• Plan, organize, and direct implementation of all school activities.
• Prepare and administer the school budget and supervise school finances.
• Interpret and implement district policies and administrative regulations.
• Lead in the development, determination of appropriateness, and monitoring of the instructional program.
• Establish expectations for proper student conduct and maintaining student discipline.
• Supervise all professional, paraprofessional, administrative, and support personnel attached to the school.
• Participates in the selection and supervision of all school building personnel.
• Conduct regular classroom observations to provide relevant and timely feedback for teachers.
• Evaluate all staff members regarding their individual and group performance.
• Assume responsibility for the safety and administration of the school facility.
• Supervise the daily use of the school facilities for both academic and nonacademic purposes.
• Plan and supervise safety and emergency preparedness plans.
• Delegates authority to responsible personnel to assume responsibility for the school in the absence of the principal.

Evaluation:

Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with School Board policy and administrative regulations.

Terms of Employment

Twelve (12) months.

Contract Length: 240 days

Salary: Spartanburg School District Six Salary Schedule
