Job summary

Convoso, a California-based AI-powered contact center platform, seeks a Principal Software Engineer to scale AI agent systems and high-performance backend infrastructure for enterprise SaaS. You will own core agentic logic, frameworks, and system reliability at scale.

You will lead development of internal agents, LLM interactions, data pipelines, and robust testing to ensure deterministic outcomes in non-deterministic AI workflows. Hybrid work with some travel supported.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, enterprise SaaS preferred.
• Expertise in AI agents, LLM orchestration, and scalable backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Build AI Agent Frameworks and LLM-based reasoning loops.
• Develop robust, secure full-stack SaaS features.
• Design and implement data interfaces for AI agents.
• Lead code reviews and refactoring for reliability.
• Design and implement unit and functional tests for AI workflows.
