Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to propel AI-native applications and scalable systems. You will drive critical initiatives, design durable architectures, and mentor teams across product and operations, delivering high-value customer outcomes at scale.

You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to ship robust solutions that leverage AI technologies and modern cloud tooling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing systems/software for large environments.
• 7+ years designing complex distributed systems or business applications.
• Full-stack development experience with AI technologies/tools and apply it to user experiences or backend solutions.
• Experience with AI technologies like SageMaker, LangChain, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, Python.
• Experience with front-end or back-end tech such as React/Angular or Java/Typescript/Spring/Express.

• Drives velocity across the organization by identifying opportunities and delivering customer, business, and technology outcomes.
• Leads end-to-end technology initiatives and architectural components across layers.
• Understands customer behaviors and partners with cross-functional teams to create end-to-end solutions.
• Designs durable software solutions balancing short- and long-term goals, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Mentors team members and contributes to cross-functional collaboration across Architecture, Product, and Operations.
• Knowledge of building AI-native applications and guiding AI applicability to customer problems.
