Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to drive AI-enabled software solutions across customer-focused domains. You will work with product managers and designers to deliver scalable, secure systems while advancing AI-native capabilities.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional initiatives, shaping architecture, and mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong emphasis on AI model understanding and modern tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing systems/software for large business environments.
• 7+ years designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications.
• Full-stack development experience with AI technologies/tools and apply it to user experiences or backend solutions.
• Experience with AI technologies like SageMaker, Vert.x, LangChain, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, Python.
• Experience with frontend technologies like React, Angular, SwiftUI (iOS), Kotlin (Android).
• Experience with backend technologies like Java, Typescript, Spring, Express (NodeJS).
• Prior working experience in a cloud computing environment like AWS/GCP is highly desired.
• Prior experience working in teams that have built AI native applications for 1+ years.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related area.

• Leads end-to-end technology initiatives, including horizontal architecture layers.
• Understands customer behaviors and partners with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Designs and implements durable software to solve critical customer problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Contributes to solutions beyond their primary area of ownership.
• Guides applicability of AI to customer problems and validates AI solutions.
