Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to help power prosperity worldwide by building AI-native applications. You will work with product managers, designers, and engineers to solve complex problems and deliver scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will drive end-to-end technology initiatives, mentor teams, and partner across Architecture, Product Management, and Operations to deliver features that delight customers. Strong cloud and AI experience are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing systems/software for large business environments.
• 7+ years designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications.
• Full-stack development experience with AI technologies/tools and apply it to user experiences or backend solutions.
• Experience with AI technologies like SageMaker, Vert.x, LangChain, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, Python.
• Experience with at least one of the following: Front-end (React, Angular, SwiftUI, Kotlin) or Back-end (Java, Typescript, Spring, Express).
• Experience with cloud computing environments like AWS/GCP is highly desired.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related area.

• Drives end‑to‑end technology initiatives, including horizontal layers of the architecture.
• Understands customer behaviors and partners with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Designs and implements durable software solutions balancing short- and long-term goals.
• Contributes to solutions outside of primary ownership; fosters boundaryless mindset.
• Leads in applying AI to customer problems and evaluates AI tooling and models.
• Collaborates with Architecture, Product Management, and Operations to design, develop, test, and release features.
