Job summary

DNV Energy Systems seeks an experienced security leader to design secure patterns across software, APIs, cloud platforms, and AI agents, partnering with engineering to ship durable fixes.

You will drive threat modeling, security testing, and CI/CD integration, guiding engineers to implement risk-based automated controls and preventive patterns at scale. Hybrid US roles in CA/TX available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in application security or secure software development.
• Deep expertise in authentication, authorization, session management and multi-tenant isolation.
• Ability to review, write, test, and improve production-quality code for cloud apps and automation.
• Experience leading source-code reviews, security testing, threat modeling, and architecture reviews.
• Experience integrating security tooling in CI/CD and turning findings into automated controls.
• Experience with major cloud providers (Azure/AWS) and cloud security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Secure architecture and AI security patterns across applications, APIs, cloud platforms, and AI-agent systems.
• Automate risk-based security controls inside delivery workflows; prevent issues at build time.
• Lead threat modeling, architecture reviews, and security testing for complex systems.
• Review code, APIs, and designs for weaknesses and multi-tenant boundaries.
• Mentor engineers in secure design and remediation; drive secure-by-default practices.
• Coordinate incident response and remediation with cross-functional teams.
