Job summary

Florida Blue is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Architect - AI & Agentic Systems to drive enterprise-wide security strategy for AI and agentic technologies. The role emphasizes HIPAA‑compliant AI adoption, design of secure, auditable architectures, and governance with cross‑functional teams.

The successful candidate will lead MLSecOps, secure data paths involving PHI, and coordinate with legal, medical, and business units to ensure risk-aware AI deployments that meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT/cybersecurity architecture experience across enterprise initiatives.
• Hands-on AI/ML security experience including at least one production deployment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA rules and applicable security controls.
• Ability to translate complex security concepts into enforceable controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI security strategy and governance for AI and agentic systems.
• Embed security into AI/ML lifecycles, CI/CD pipelines, and vendor assessments.
• Design and enforce PHI protection controls in data paths and models.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across legal, medical, procurement, and IT.
