Job summary

Arlyn AI, a New York-based AI startup, seeks a Senior Applied Scientist for Agentic AI to transform unstructured data into data ontologies and actionable insights that drive drug launches and access strategies.

You will own end-to-end development of agentic LLM applications, collaborate with founders to steer product direction, and work with Engineering on scalable AI infrastructure and core workflows. This role is on-site in NYC with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Strong conceptual thinker with ability to translate complex business challenges into data problems.
• Hands-on experience building AI applications, including prompt engineering and analytics.
• Experience in finance, biotech, or tech startups with 5+ years or PhD with 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development and deployment of agentic LLM applications delivering measurable business impact.
• Design, build, evaluate, and ship production-ready AI systems from prototype to production.
• Partner with founders to define product direction and turn business problems into AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering to build scalable AI infrastructure, system architecture, and internal tools.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and user experience through rapid experimentation and iteration.
