Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Product Manager to shape the next generation of AI-powered learning experiences. You’ll lead discovery, definition, delivery, launch, and optimization for AI-enabled features that help students learn more effectively.

This hands-on role requires collaboration with engineering, data science, learning science, content, QA, legal, privacy, and business teams to turn opportunities into trusted product experiences. A strong candidate will apply AI safely within products.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of product management experience for digital, software, SaaS, consumer, education, or platform products.
• Shipping products from discovery through launch and post-launch optimization.
• Hands-on experience using generative AI tools in product work (research, prototyping, analysis).
• Understanding of LLM-based products: prompts, retrieval-augmented generation, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Strong analytical skills and data-informed decision making.

Responsibilities

• Support the roadmap and success metrics for AI-powered learning experiences within Pearson’s digital learning ecosystem.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve student outcomes, engagement, and personalization through research and experimentation.
• Contribute to end-to-end delivery of AI-enabled features from discovery to launch and optimization.
• Translate learner, business, and technical needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, content, QA, and AI platform teams to deliver effective AI experiences.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate discovery, prototyping, and stakeholder communication.
• Define and evaluate AI-powered learning experiences, including prompts and workflow behavior.
• Monitor product performance using analytics and user feedback for continuous improvement.
• Ensure AI features align with Pearson privacy, security, accessibility, and responsible AI standards.
