Job summary

GliaCell Technologies is seeking a Principal AI/ML Engineer to support a U.S. Government contract. This full-time role requires a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and offers opportunity to lead advanced AI/ML initiatives in mission-critical systems.

Based in Annapolis Junction, MD with partial telework, the position emphasizes design, deployment, and evaluation of scalable models, cross-team collaboration, and strong communication skills for success in complex environments.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 10+ years of applied ML experience in government-scale programs.
• Master's or PhD in AI/math/data science/CS; substitution rules apply.
• Strong software engineering and AI/ML model evaluation skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and productionize AI/ML algorithms.
• Lead model deployment, monitoring, and retraining processes.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and serve as primary AI POC.
• Provide technical leadership on mission-focused projects.
