Job summary

GliaCell Technologies is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support a U.S. Government contract from Annapolis Junction, MD.

The role focuses on the design, development, and operation of ANSWERLAKE, a backend data/storage system with APIs for analytic workloads. The candidate must hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph, possess 20+ years of software engineering experience, and be able to work in a hybrid setup with strong communication within an Agile team.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required (rein-statable).
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 20+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS in Computer Science or related.
• Four years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Works well independently as well as on a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and operate ANSWERLAKE backend system.
• Provide compliant storage and APIs for analytic results and integrations.
• Support enterprise outcomes and collaborate across teams in an Agile environment.
