Job summary

Snowflake seeks a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer II to embed with strategic customers and shape enterprise AI deployments. You will act as a senior technical authority, guiding architectural steering, roadmaps, and cross‑functional collaboration with CTOs, engineering leaders, and product teams.

You will write production code and prototypes on critical customer programs, define quality standards, and mentor engineers while traveling up to 25% of the time to sites.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with production AI/ML or agentic systems at enterprise scale.
• Proven track record as trusted technical advisor to CTOs and engineering leaders across multiple accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to convert client patterns into reusable platforms, tools, and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural steering and executive strategy alignment for a portfolio of high‑impact AI engagements.
• Own end‑to‑end outcomes and arbitrate cross‑system tradeoffs at scale.
• Define and drive product direction by translating customer needs into clear requirements.
