Qualifications

• 7+ years building software systems including AI applications and training models.
• Strong Python expertise and ML framework experience (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Hands-on with LLMs, embeddings, vector search, and RAG.
• Experience with Spark, Kafka, Flink, and OCI Streaming/Data Flow.
• Background in distributed systems and large-scale training/inference.
• Experience with network telemetry and security-focused AI deployments.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, NAPALM, Batfish.
• Experience with containerization, model serving, GPU workflows, CI/CD, and MLOps.
• Ability to write design documents, define scope, and own delivery end to end.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of advanced AI applications powered by AI models.
• Use AI and ML to automate, optimize, and secure networks.
• Develop self-provisioning, auto-ingesting, auto-qualifying systems, and self-healing networks.
• Design scalable orchestration for serving and training AI/ML models.
• Explore current research on AI, agents, and inference systems for network design, monitoring, troubleshooting, and deployment.
• Evaluate, integrate, and optimize technologies across the stack for latency, throughput, and resource efficiency in training and inference workloads.
• Lead AI systems design initiatives, including retrieval-augmented generation and LLM fine-tuning.
• Design and develop scalable services and tools to support GPU-accelerated AI pipelines, Python/Go development, and observability frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development and rollout of AI solutions.
