Job summary

GM Financial is seeking a hands-on Principal Engineer to lead strategy, design, and deployment of agentic voice solutions in a contact center, leveraging AWS, Azure, and telephony. You will mentor teams and deliver enterprise-grade Gen AI systems, including multi-agent orchestration and RAG pipelines.

You will partner with product, security, and governance teams to ensure scalable, compliant AI capabilities while shaping best practices and architecture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering expertise in architecture, development, and testing.
• Experience leading teams or end-to-end solution delivery.
• Track record delivering production Generative AI applications with agentic architectures.

Responsibilities

• Guide AI engineering teams and mentor engineers.
• Design and deploy production-grade Generative AI solutions including agent-based systems.
• Define AI architecture, patterns, and development practices.
• Ensure security, compliance, and responsible AI integration.
• Collaborate with product, security, and architecture stakeholders.
• Drive innovation and exploration of new Gen AI technologies.
