Job summary

Toyota Motor North America’s Digital Innovations group seeks a Principal Engineer to lead technical strategy and execution across supply chain platforms. You’ll set direction, mentor engineers, and align with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, AI-enabled solutions.

You will work in fusion teams, drive cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps, observability, and delivery standards, and help scale engineering excellence while maintaining security and cost discipline.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing and delivering complex enterprise software solutions.
• 5+ years cloud-native architecture on AWS and scalable platform design.
• 5+ years delivering modern software using React, Node.js (TypeScript), PostgreSQL/MongoDB.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and AI-enabled engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define and advance the technical vision for large-scale supply chain platforms.
• Lead architecture and design decisions across products and teams.
• Provide principal-level technical leadership across the lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers and engineering managers to elevate technical excellence.
• Drive disciplined execution with scaled agile delivery practices.
