Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of work experience.
• Six+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Experience administering enterprise relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience ingesting, validating, and managing structured data feeds.
• Scripting for automation and orchestration (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Software development skills with languages like C#, Java, Python.
• REST API integration for data exchange in ETL/ELT contexts.
• Ability to use AI-assisted tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate coding.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of data ingress and egress pipelines.
• Administer and optimize relational databases.
• Onboard, configure inbound data feeds from identity/workforce systems (e.g., SailPoint/Workday).
• Design, build, and maintain ingestion workflows and batch processing.
• Develop and maintain API integrations for real-time and scheduled data exchange.
• Create automation scripts for file transfer, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Support downstream worker identity data feeds and stakeholder teams.
• Enforce coding standards and data quality controls across components.
• Partner with leadership on feed roadmaps and integration priorities.
• Collaborate with peer engineering and data teams to improve platform.
