Job summary

Rivet Operations Company LLC seeks a Principal Artificial Intelligence/Cloud Engineer to lead AI/ML and cloud architecture for Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC. You will own the technical roadmap, ensure secure, scalable solutions, and enforce coding standards and RMF/ATO processes.

You will design and deploy ML models for predictive maintenance, implement CI/CD and IaC, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to maintain Secret clearance.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and deploying machine learning models and AI applications.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience designing and maintaining AI systems and cloud environments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience automating cloud, infrastructure, data, and AI processes; supporting security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall technical architecture for ALD software, AI/ML, and cloud systems.
• Design, train, and improve ML models for predictive maintenance and data engineering on large datasets.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain secure applications and infrastructure in government-owned environments.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Integrate language models into existing software and enforce RMF/ATO processes.
• Mentor junior technical staff and coordinate with government stakeholders.
