The engineer will lead AI tool development, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure compliance with RTX standards, delivering scalable, safe solutions across aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM with minimum 8 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience building internal AI developer tools or platforms tailored to safety‑critical domains.
• Proficiency with GenAI implementation patterns and requirement‑traceability for regulated environments.
• Hands‑on LLMOps experience with evaluation metric platforms for experiment tracking, monitoring, tracing, and reproducible evaluation in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify manual engineering tasks to optimize or replace with AI-driven solutions and automation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain AI and automation tools to enhance workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Analyze workflows and data to identify inefficiencies and improve precision, speed, and productivity.
• Stay current with AI advancements to ensure cutting‑edge solutions.
• Design and execute proof‑of‑concept projects to validate strategies.
