Description

Our client, a leader in case management, offers an excellent opportunity for a Principal AI Architect. This full-time, remote role (preferably local to SoCal) involves driving innovation in the legal industry through AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for AI, creativity, and hands-on experience with GenAI and machine learning technologies.

The role requires applying AI and data science to prototype, refine, and validate AI products and delivery models, transforming data insights into actionable solutions for internal and product use. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits, working on a W2 basis.

Responsibilities

1. Design and Develop AI Solutions: Lead the creation of AI models and algorithms, respond to AI/ML inquiries, and present solutions to stakeholders.
2. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with business leaders, data engineers, and product teams to translate requirements into AI solutions and demonstrate AI/ML platforms.
3. Architecture Design: Develop scalable, reliable AI system architectures, including GenAI/Agentic AI solutions.
4. Research and Innovation: Stay current with AI advancements and provide thought leadership.
5. Model Deployment: Oversee AI model deployment and integration into production environments.
6. Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring to ensure AI models perform optimally.
7. Documentation: Create detailed architecture and process documentation.
8. Leadership and Training: Mentor team members and enhance internal AI capabilities.

Experience Requirements

• Proven track record with GenAI, ML, NLP, LLMs, transformers, and related technologies.
• Experience in data engineering, analytics, and data science.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and MLOps, including model deployment and monitoring tools.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), with AWS preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; PhD preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years in GenAI, ML, NLP, and data science fields.
