Job summary

Protingent Staffing is seeking a Principal Software Test Engineer (Contractor) for our client in Centennial, CO. The role oversees design, development, and execution of comprehensive software test plans for aerospace software systems, leading test campaigns and automation efforts.

You will mentor junior engineers, define test strategies, manage risks and schedules, review design docs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years of related experience with aerospace/complex software systems.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and leading test teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, development, and execution of comprehensive software test plans.
• Architect and lead large-scale test campaigns for aerospace software systems.
• Mentor junior/mid-level test engineers and review test artifacts.
