Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate to deliver client coverage and execution for hedge funds and institutional clients in New York. You will gain exposure to front-office activity, portfolio financing strategies, and cross-asset products while collaborating with trading, risk, legal, and operations teams.

Responsibilities include managing client relationships, responding to inquiries, preparing meeting materials, and assisting with onboarding and platform adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 1-3 years of financial services, operations, or capital markets experience.
• Series 7, 63, SIE is required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day management of hedge fund and institutional client relationships.
• Respond to client inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Prepare materials for client meetings and assist with follow-ups.
• Monitor client portfolios, including leverage, margin, and financing exposures.
• Identify and elevate potential risks or discrepancies.
• Support onboarding and adoption of internal reporting and trading platforms.
