Qualifications

• Preferred: One year of butchery experience or relevant experience.
• ServeSafe certification or comparable.

Responsibilities

• Package and wrap various cuts of meats according to department standards.
• Use wrapping equipment to seal and protect meat products.
• Label packages with product information, prices and expiration dates.
• Assist in monitoring inventory and restocking display cases.
• Rotate products to maintain freshness and remove expired items.
• Inspect meat products for quality and proper packaging.
• Ensure all labeled information complies with safety regulations and store policies.
• Provide excellent customer service in a timely and professional manner.
• Make recommendations on meat selection and cooking, fulfill special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the wrapping area.
• Sanitize equipment and work surfaces regularly.
• Adhere to all company safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Ability to work in varying temperature-controlled environments.
