Job summary

The Fresh Market Inc. is seeking a Meat Cutter to cut, trim, and prepare meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards. You will assist with inventory, pricing integrity, and merchandising while delivering an impeccable guest experience.

The role requires 2+ years in meat cutting, the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and compliance with internal certification within 90 days of hire. A dedicated team environment and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items and assist guests across departments.
• Handle, slice, cut, and trim meat and seafood, ensuring quality per The Fresh Market standards.
• Monitor case temperatures and storage areas to ensure freshness and safety.
• Enforce safety and food safety procedures per policy and law.
