Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City seeks a Senior Project Engineer (Prime Engineer) to lead the B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) and direct engineering teams through SOW development. You will work with USAF and internal stakeholders to shape the work, manage changes, and ensure delivery of the program’s objectives.

Qualifications

• BS degree required in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (as listed).
• 10+ years drafting, reviewing and negotiating statements of work (SOW).
• 10+ years of experience representing multiple skill areas with internal/external resources.
• 10+ years of experience with USG proposals.
• 5+ years drafting, reviewing and negotiating SOWs and proposals on EMD programs.
• 5+ years of Bomber modifications and/or upgrades.
• Travel up to 10% - primarily domestic.

Responsibilities

• Be the Prime Engineer supporting the B-52 development programs: the Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP).
• Work as part of an integrated proposal team with PM, Finance, Scheduling, Pricing & Estimating, Contracts, Supplier Management and others.
• Develop Statement of Work breakouts by function, ensure CD...R L is accurate and BOE data covers the scope of work.
• Track identified issues to closure prior to submitting a proposal; interact with USAF customer and leadership.
