Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Institutional Equity Division seeks a Prime Brokerage Strats professional to deliver analysis and bespoke tooling across the PB desk. You will collaborate with traders, marketers and senior management, build reporting, P&L analyses, and tools to assess the cost and impact of new trades.

This role also involves developing and maintaining internal infrastructure, applying your financial data skills, SQL/KDB programming, and Python to support risk management and capital efficiency

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial industry or financial product data analysis.
• 2+ years of experience in developing applications.
• Knowledge of SQL, KDB or equivalent database programming.
• Experience with Python or equivalent high-level computer programming language.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and bespoke tooling for the PB desk.
• Create custom reporting for clients and P&L analysis.
• Develop tools to analyze cost and impact of new trades.
• Analyze inventory and firm resource consumption.
• Build and maintain the Strats' internal infrastructure.
