Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc is seeking an Associate for Prime Transition Management in Prime Brokerage to lead end-to-end onboarding of hedge fund and institutional clients. You will work closely with sales, product, legal, IT, and operations to capture requirements and drive go-live timelines.

The role demands strong organization, client engagement at senior levels, and a focus on risk and regulatory standards within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Front office experience is preferred.
• Experience onboarding hedge fund/institutional clients is valued.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Regulatory compliance awareness expected (Three Lines of Defense).
• Licensing: FINRA Series 7 & 63 required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding of hedge fund and institutional clients.
• Collaborate with Prime Origination Sales and Product Sales teams; gather commercial, trading, technical, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with Legal, IT, Operations, Trading, Margin, Risk, and global markets teams to onboard clients efficiently.
• Build relationships with client executives (CEOs, CIOs, COOs, CROs, PMs) across levels.
• Provide updates and manage client expectations toward go-live deadlines.
• Contribute to profitability by excellent client experience and cross-selling products.
• Assist in product/platform enhancements to meet client needs and generate revenue.
• Deliver value-added service as a trusted advisor.
• Ensure fair treatment of customers and maintain market conduct.
