Key Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end operations at our drone delivery hubs and lead the Prime Air commercial operations center.
• Manage fulfillment (outbound/inbound), drone maintenance and spare parts, and flight operations.
• Act as on‑site senior leader, supervising managers and employees.
• Partner with customer‑facing teams (customer support, marketing, PR) to deliver a superior ultra‑fast delivery experience.
• Collaborate with technical and support functions (Training & Compliance, Product, Engineering, IT, Facilities, Finance, HR, Supply Chain) to drive a highly efficient operation and impact Prime Air’s S‑team goal of delivering packages via drone.
• Maintain compliance with export control license requirements and Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing.

Qualifications

• Experience with hiring, performance management, and terminations.
• People‑management or leadership experience including coaching and development.
• Flexible schedule/shift work; availability for weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of operations.
• Ability to travel to local sites up to 25% of the time.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Analytical skills: performance metrics, process improvements, Lean methodologies.
• Judgment and decision‑making in demanding, changing priorities.
• Ability to train as a drone operator and adhere to standards.
• Physical requirements: carry/lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders, push/pull/flexibility.
• Prior experience in the drone/aerospace industry.

Benefits

The base salary range for this position is 105,500.00 – 142,700.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
