Job summary

Atlanta Recovery Place (ARP) is hiring a Primary Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy in a substance use and mental health setting. The role emphasizes clinical judgment, proactive care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires active GA licensure (APC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT) and prior experience with high-acuity clients; CPI/CPR certification is preferred. On-site schedule, with daytime hours, supporting a mission-driven team at ARP.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia licensure or associate-level license in a relevant field.
• Experience with high-acuity mental health clients preferred.
• Experience leading group therapy and delivering individual/family therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy services.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and determine treatment adequacy.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and clinical needs throughout care.
• Deliver crisis intervention and follow protocols.
• Conduct intake interviews and referrals as needed.
• Document services in compliance with standards.
• Notify Clinical Director of significant incidents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams.
• Uphold mission and values of Southern Live Oak Wellness, LLC.
