Job summary

Monte Nido Rockland in New City, NY is seeking a Part-time Primary Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team. The role involves individual, group, and family therapy, with interactions with families and outpatient providers, and coordination with insurance for pre-certification.

It supports discharge planning and therapeutic meal guidance within a diverse, inclusive setting. Scheduled hours include Wednesday 10am-6pm, Friday 9am-5pm, and Saturday 10am-6pm, onsite at the Rockland location.

Qualifications

• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
• Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
• Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food
• Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients' intersecting identities
• Maybe required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during periods of low census or to address coverage needs.

Monte Nido Rockland, located in New City, NY, is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido’streatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

We are seeking a PartTime Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team.

Schedule: Wednesday 10am-6pm, Friday 9am-5pm, & Saturday 10am-6pm

Salary: $30-$40.87/HR

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices
