Monte Nido Azul in South Miami, Florida seeks a Primary Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team providing therapy to adults with eating disorders. The role includes individual, group and family therapy within an intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization framework.

Required is a Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related field with a state license or license eligibility. DEI knowledge and experience with eating disorders are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline.
• State license or license-eligible in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC).
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
• Liaise with families and outpatient providers.
• Interact with insurance for pre-certification and utilization management.
• Participate in discharge and aftercare planning.
• Provide therapeutic meal support and model healthy eating.
• Deliver safe, empathetic care respecting clients’ identities.
• Support virtual care and telehealth as needed.

Monte Nido Azul, is a primary eating disorder day treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Through partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming, clients participate in group and individual therapy, benefit from Monte Nido’s clinical, medical, psychiatric, and nutritional expertise, and experience real-life challenges.

We are seeking a Primary Therapist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team.

• Participating in discharge and aftercare planningTherapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food
• Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients' intersecting identities
• Maybe required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during periods of low census or to address coverage needs.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices
