Monte Nido Rockland is seeking a Part Time Primary Therapist in New City, NY. The role involves providing individual, group, and family therapy within a multidisciplinary team, with a schedule of Wednesday 10am-6pm, Friday 9am-5pm, and Saturday 10am-6pm.

The position pays $30–$40.87 per hour on-site and may include telehealth support as needed. This is an on-site opportunity within a residential treatment program for adults with eating disorders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline.
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC).
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful.
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy.
• Liaising with families and outpatient providers.
• Interacting with insurers for pre-certification and utilization management.
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning.
• Therapeutic meal support and modeling healthy eating.
• Delivering safe, empathetic care sensitive to clients' identities.
• May support telehealth and virtual care as needed.

Monte Nido Rockland, located in New City, NY, is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido’s treatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

We are seeking a Part Time Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team.

Schedule: Wednesday 10am-6pm, Friday 9am-5pm, & Saturday 10am-6pm

Salary: $30-$40.87/HR
