Monte Nido Vista in Agoura Hills, CA is seeking a full-time Primary Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team. The role involves individual, group, and family therapy, liaising with families and outpatient providers, and coordinating with insurance for pre-certifications and utilization management.

The position supports therapeutic meal planning and a holistic recovery approach for adults with eating disorders, with a schedule Tuesday–Saturday and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum.
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
• Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
• Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food
• Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients' intersecting identities

Monte Nido Vista, located in Agoura Hills, CA, is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido’streatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

We are seeking a full‑time Primary Therapist to join our multi‑disciplinary treatment team.

Anticipated Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday (late start on Fridays required)

$70,500 - $85,000/ year
