Job summary

Alsana is a national leader in eating disorder treatment, offering a holistic approach to recovery for adults and adolescents. The Primary Therapist will provide consultation, case management and therapy for complex cases, including individual, group, and family sessions, and will develop treatment plans with thorough documentation.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and licensure eligibility, with prior eating disorder experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field and active licensure or eligibility.
• Two years' experience with eating disorders or equivalent training.
• Eligible for registration with relevant professional association.
• Knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and treatment guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, case management and therapy on complex cases.
• Assess clients, determine referral needs, provide group and family therapy.
• Create and implement treatment plans; document progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Coordinate with outpatient team and ensure continuity of care.
• Attend weekly trainings and supervision; participate in meals with clients.
• Provide crisis stabilization and on-call coverage as needed.
