At Evolve Treatment Centers, we provide life-changing mental health and substance use treatment for adolescents ages 12–17. Our approach blends evidence-based practices with compassion, innovation, and a strong therapeutic alliance. We are currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist for our 6-bed residential treatment center in Sacramento, CA.
Evolve delivers cutting-edge residential, intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs designed to meet the unique needs of teens and their families. Our clinical model is rooted in:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Serve as the primary therapist for assigned clients and families
Conduct weekly individual and family therapy sessions
Facilitate 1–2 therapy groups/week and complete clinical documentation
Complete Biopsychosocial & Risk Assessments, develop and monitor Treatment Plans
Provide after-hours clinical support as part of a phone-based on-call rotation
Communicate with Utilization Review team for insurance coverage and updates
Guide clients and families through discharge planning and aftercare coordination
Participate in weekly Treatment Team and psychiatry meetings
Complete timely documentation in compliance with licensing/accreditation standards
Assess and respond to clinical risk, safety planning, and mandated reporting
Associate licensure (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) or fully licensed (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) in California
Valid California Driver’s License
Ability to pass LiveScan, criminal background check, and child abuse index clearance
Willingness to support and interact with COVID-positive clients, if needed
Competitive Salary ($85K–$95K depending on experience)
