Job description

Licensed Therapists or Associate Therapist opportunity.
(Please note: Licensed Therapists, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC, will also be considered. The list of essential functions and requirements reflects that of Associate Therapists.)

Our brand new, 15-bed, mental health facility crisis residential program is located in Orangevale, CA. Our inpatient facility serves voluntary clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff.

Positions Available:

• Full-time: 2 positions as either an Associate Therapist or Licensed Therapist

For Full-Time ACSW, AMFT, or APCC:

• Group and individual hours toward licensure.
• Associates can claim their full 32-40 hour workweek toward licensure.

Essential Functions as an Associate Therapist:

• Perform professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients.
• Assess and monitor clients’ behaviors during treatment.
• Collaborate with other professionals as part of a team.
• Participate in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences.
• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy; interview clients and relatives.
• Engage in collaborative treatment with other agencies.
• Prepare verbal, written, and statistical reports.
• Attend conferences, workshops, and training to stay current with mental health methodologies and issues.
• Operate a personal computer and office equipment.
• Communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
• Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures, and regulations, and develop appropriate responses.
• Perform duties under stressful conditions.
• May be assigned lead and special work coordination responsibilities.

Education and Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling.
• Registration with an associate number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Salary:

• Associate Therapist: $68,162 - $100,152 (for 40 hours/week)
• Licensed Therapist: $82,597 - $122,595 (for 40 hours/week)
