Whetstone Academy in Mountain Rest, SC seeks a Primary Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy to students and their families. The role requires trauma-informed care knowledge, adolescent focus, and strong collaboration within the treatment team.

Relocation reimbursement is offered, with a competitive salary and potential bonuses. Schedule is Monday–Friday, on-site, with 8 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Licensure as a professional counselor, social worker, or marriage and family therapist in South Carolina
• Experience working with adolescents and families
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and family systems theory
• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to students and their families
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Conduct assessments and evaluations
• Collaborate with other members of the treatment team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in weekly clinical team meetings

Whetstone Academy is a therapeutic boarding school for boys ages 10-15 located in Mountain Rest, South Carolina. About the Position

We are seeking a Primary Therapist who loves children to join our team. We offer a relocation reimbursement. The Primary Therapist will provide individual, family, and group therapy to students and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and family systems theory.

Schedule

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 hours per day, NOT REMOTE POSITION

Pay Scale

Pay Scale: $57,800 - $84,120 plus potential bonuses

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to students and their families
