Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting Primary Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in South Tyneside. These roles suit those seeking immediate starts, long-term placements, or flexible work to fit commitments.

Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, with opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. You will deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, support pupil progress, and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with school staff and support teams
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management and safeguarding
