Job description

Summary:
Works with the classroom Lead Primary Teacher to provide developmentally appropriate activities for the children using the Creative Curriculum program, collect data and assess children. Partners with Lead Primary Teacher to provide parents with daily reports using the Tadpole App.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with Lead Primary Teacher to develop and implement lesson plans
2. Use developmentally appropriate, intentional teaching through Creative Curriculum
3. Maintain health and safety of each child
4. Assist Lead Primary Teacher in collecting documentation and assessments to complete portfolios and reports
5. Serve as a lead teacher when Lead Primary Teacher is absent
6. All of our full-time positions work a rotating schedule of 7:30am-3:30pm and 10am-6pm Monday through Friday. You will open some days and close others. You must be able to work 7:30am-3:30pm and 10am-6pm. You will also have the opportunity to opt for a 4-day work week (4 days with extended hours and 1 day off). Our current staff loves the flexibility this schedule provides!

Qualifications:

1. 2 years of childcare experience OR college credits toward education with a willingness/plan to continue education

Preferred:

1. CDA or AA in related field
