Teacher Profile

The Primary School Mandarin Chinese teachers collaborate with a team providing Mandarin as an Additional Language instruction to students from 5K to Grade 5. They employ effective language acquisition practices to support proficiency-based groups, from novice to advanced levels. Teachers also co-plan with colleagues across languages to deliver content aligned with the Primary Years Programme (PYP), emphasizing inquiry-based, transdisciplinary learning. An inclusive classroom environment fostering a sense of belonging is essential.
