Job summary

White Rose Education in Halifax, UK, seeks a Primary Mathematics Specialist to develop, review and refine high-quality maths resources, curricula and assessments. You’ll work with our Education team to ensure materials are accurate, pedagogically sound and progression-focused, drawing on classroom experience.

This full-time, all-year-round role offers opportunities for professional development and collaboration with schools, with travel to Leeds. Start date Easter 2027.

Qualifications

• QTS and ECT induction completed; degree-level qualification obtained.
• Strong track record of effective primary mathematics teaching.
• Knowledge of NC and progression in primary maths.
• Experience developing teaching resources and assessments.
• Ability to assess and address misconceptions in maths.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve maths resources, curricula and assessments.
• Review curriculum and assessment materials for progression and accuracy.
• Contribute to professional development and school engagement.
• Collaborate with Education team to reflect effective pedagogy.
• Ensure resources are accessible to teachers and learners.
• Plan and deliver high-quality maths CPD.
