Archdiocese of Chicago seeks a Primary Grade-Level Classroom Aide to support the classroom teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, organized, and faith-filled learning environment for young children.

The role involves working with teachers and the primary-grade team to provide instructional and organizational assistance, helping students stay engaged and prepared for learning, and modeling Catholic values in daily interactions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support students individually and in small groups under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Reinforce classroom routines, expectations, and positive behavior.
• Assist students who need additional support with transitions, organization, attention, or completion of activities.
• Provide encouragement to help students develop confidence and independence.
• Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, recess, and other activities.
