Job summary

Qualifications

Strong track record of delivering excellent teaching and improving standards in EYFS and KS1.
Extensive experience of middle and senior leadership in primary schools including high EAL, SEND and disadvantaged cohorts.
Deep knowledge of primary curriculums and assessment models and processes.
Ability to lead phonics improvements at scale, expertise in Read, Write Inc. phonics scheme.
Up-to-date curriculum, pedagogical and assessment knowledge for the whole primary age range.
Ability to coach, develop and motivate professionals to improve practice and outcomes.
Ability to use data to diagnose priorities and secure measurable improvement across schools.

Responsibilities

Lead the Trust’s EYFS and KS1 curriculum and standards strategy.
Drive improvements in curriculum quality, teaching, assessment and pupil outcomes.
Visit schools and provide bespoke support to leaders and teachers.
Coach, develop and motivate staff to raise practice and performance.
Utilise data to identify priorities and implement targeted improvements across the trust.
