Carolina Outpatient Detox LLC seeks a full-time CADC to deliver clinical services in an outpatient detox program in Charlotte, NC. You will screen, assess, and monitor withdrawal, and facilitate individual and group counseling as part of an interdisciplinary team.
You will develop treatment plans, document interventions, and provide psychoeducation on recovery, coping skills, and relapse prevention while coordinating referrals to follow-up care. Hybrid on-site and remote work may be required.
Carolina Outpatient Detox provides medically monitored detoxification services for adults ages 18 and older in an intensive outpatient setting. Operating at ASAM Level 2.7, the program is designed for individuals experiencing withdrawal symptoms who require structured medical and clinical care but do not need 24-hour inpatient treatment. Clients receive care from an interdisciplinary team that includes registered nurses, medical providers, and clinical support staff, with a physician on call 24 hours a day. The program offers individualized, evidence-based medication protocols, including extended tapers, to reduce withdrawal symptoms and minimize risks. Participants benefit from medical oversight, individual and group therapy, and access to psychiatric support for co-occurring or suspected mental health conditions, while remaining in their home environment.
The CADC will provide direct clinical services to individuals participating in the outpatient detox program, including screening, assessment, and ongoing monitoring of substance use and withdrawal symptoms. Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating individual and group counseling sessions, developing and updating treatment plans, documenting clinical interventions, and collaborating with the medical and nursing teams to support safe and effective detoxification. The CADC will offer psychoeducation on addiction, recovery, and coping skills, coordinate referrals to continuing care and community resources, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review client progress. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC, with a combination of on-site work in the clinic and some work-from-home responsibilities as appropriate to program needs.
