Job summary

Shionogi Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative for Primary Care to promote and sell products to healthcare providers in the New York, NY (Manhattan) territory.

You will develop and execute a strategic business plan, educate clinicians on clinical evidence, and collaborate with Marketing and Market Access to drive sales performance. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a proven sales record, and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required.
• Minimum 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or related transferrable sales experience.
• Proven track record of high performance in sales and building relationships with customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients.
• Strong understanding of primary care market and healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Educate and engage healthcare professionals about clinical evidence, indications, and product efficacy/safety to support on-label prescribing.
• Drive sales performance and ensure forecasts and budgets are met or exceeded.
• Build professional relationships with primary care providers, pharmacy staff, and territory stakeholders.
• Develop knowledge of market, demographics and managed care info for the territory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive pull-through with payers and HCPs.
