Mercy in Eureka, MO seeks a Primary Care Nurse to work with Primary Care Providers delivering safe, patient-centered care. The role supports an attributed panel and collaborates with patients and the care team to drive quality outcomes for the assigned population.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 0800–1630 with no nights, weekends, or holidays. After three months of on-site training, a 50/50 hybrid model applies; on-site attendance for monthly clinic meetings is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing or RN‑level nursing degree.
• Licensure: Active LPN or RN license.
• Experience: 2–3 years preferred in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver safe, timely, effective patient care.
• Partner with patients and care team to drive quality outcomes for an attributed panel.
• Utilize Epic EMR and computer systems to complete documentation and patient triage.

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Nurse works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Nurse will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for an attributed panel. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details: Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Eureka

Location: 20 The Legends Pkwy, Suite 100, Eureka, MO 63025

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 0800-1630

No nights, weekends, or holidays!

Must complete three months of on-site training prior to transitioning to a hybrid work-from-home schedule. After training, this role follows a 50/50 hybrid model, with full-time (1.0 FTE) co-workers expected to work on-site five days per pay period. Must also be available to attend monthly on-site clinic meetings.

Highly Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency with Epic EMR system.
• Timely and thorough patient triage skills.
• Computer competency (most of this position will be computer work).
• Excellent time management and prioritization.
• Adaptability in a new and changing environment.

LPN Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• Licensure: Active LPN license.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred.

RN Qualifications:

• Education: Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing, Graduation from registered nursing program, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN), OR 4 years of commensurate experience in lieu of the bachelor's degree.
• Licensure: Active RN license.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred.
