Mercy Clinic Primary Care – Chesterfield Valley seeks a Primary Care Nurse to support providers, triage calls, and deliver safe, timely care in a patient-centered approach.

Newly created role; requires 2-3 years of experience and appropriate nursing licensure. Training occurs on-site for ~3 months, then a 50/50 hybrid schedule with periodic on-site meetings and ongoing Epic EMR usage.

Qualifications

• LPN: Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• LPN: Active LPN license.
• LPN: 2-3 years of experience preferred.
• RN: ADN/BSN or 4 years of commensurate experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree; RN licensed.

Responsibilities

• Manage triage calls/messages for the clinic.
• Collaborate with Providers and care team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Support on-site and later hybrid work environment with on-going training.

Position Details

Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Chesterfield Valley

Location: 17701 Edison Ave, Chesterfield, MO 63005

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 0800-1630

No nights, weekends, or holidays!

• Must complete a minimum of three months of on-site training prior to transitioning to a hybrid work-from-home schedule. After training, this role follows a 50/50 hybrid model, with full-time (1.0 FTE) co-workers expected to work on-site five days per pay period. Must also be available to attend monthly on-site clinic meetings.**

Our Primary Care Nurse is a newly created role for the clinics. In this position the nurse will work closely with the Providers and manage triage calls/messages for the clinic. They will have the option to move hybrid after training is complete.

LPN Qualifications

Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing.

Licensure: Active LPN license.

Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred.

RN Qualifications

Education: Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing, Graduation from registered nursing program, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN), OR 4 years of commensurate experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree.

Licensure: Active RN license.

Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred.

Highly Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with Epic EMR system


• Timely and thorough patient triage skills


• Computer competency (most of this position will be computer work)


• Excellent time management and prioritization


• Adaptability in a new and changing environment
