Frontier Direct Care in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX, is expanding with new clinics in Richardson, Mesquite, Duncanville and Arlington. We seek Family Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants who want to practice full-scope primary care with genuine clinical autonomy and long, patient-centered visits.

Expect 30-60 minute visits, a supportive clinical environment, and mentorship from a Medical Director team. Join a fast-growing DPC organization focused on relationships over volume.

Qualifications

• Active Texas APRN-FNP or PA license.
• 2+ years post-graduate experience in family practice or primary care.
• Experience managing patients across lifespan.
• Hands-on procedural experience: I&Ds, suturing, skin biopsies.
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain before start.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Comfort with electronic medical records and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide longitudinal primary care: preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Manage chronic conditions with appropriate visit times.
• Perform in-office procedures (I&Ds, suturing, biopsies).
• See patients in person, by phone, and via secure video/text.
• Direct daily patient care and delegate tasks to Medical Assistant.
• Document visits and maintain records in EHR.
• Provide after-hours patient access via secure line.
• Practice under collaborating/delegating physician with mentorship.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and 1:1s.

What You'll Do

• Provide longitudinal primary care: preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits
• Manage chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and more) with the panel size and visit time needed to intervenebeforeconditions progress
• Perform in-office procedures including I&Ds, suturing and suture removal, skin biopsies, and men's and women's health exams
• See patients in person, by phone, and via secure video/text - typical visits run 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on patient need
• Direct daily patient care and delegate tasks to your assigned Medical Assistant
• Document visits and maintain records in our EHR
• Provide after-hours patient access through a company-provided secure line (your personal number is never shared with patients)
• Practice under a collaborating/delegating physician in accordance with Texas Medical Board requirements, with mentorship from our Medical Director team
• Participate in weekly team meetings and 1:1s

What You'll Bring

• Active, unencumbered Texas licensure as an APRN-FNP (national board certified)orPA (NCCPA-certified)
• 2+ years post-graduate experience in family practice or primary care
• Experience managing patients across the lifespan (pediatric through geriatric)
• Hands-on procedural experience: I&Ds, suturing/suture removal, skin biopsies, IV placement, men's/women's health exams
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration (or ability to obtain before start)
• Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Comfort with electronic medical records and scheduling tools

Preferred:

• Prior experience in direct primary care, concierge medicine, or employer-sponsored clinics
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience owning a patient panel with a high degree of clinical autonomy
• Telehealth experience or multistate licensure
• A preference for lower-volume, higher-touch medicine over high-throughput fee-for-service
